It was about this time last year that I met this family for the first time. I was still pretty new to Indy and had just opened my doors to business here. I’m pretty sure I struck gold amongst Indianapolis photographers. I cannot think of a better way to start each year than with celebrating the birth of this guy. I got to see them again a bit later in the year, too, and to my surprise, Jeff remembered me! So as I drove up to their house for Jeff’s birthday shoot, I was excited to see him come running out with that contagious grin. He excitedly asked me to help him get River (the dog) back into the house and we started our shoot.

We spent out time reading Curious George (my favorite!!), stomping in slush, skidding on ice, climbing trees, dancing to Meghan Trainor, sword fighting, and sneaking in some hugs and kisses (the Hershey kind, too!). To the boy with the most perfect curly locks… happiest of happy birthdays (a bit early). I look forward to see what this next year brings you… and your new haircut, too!!
