I’m such a sucker for a session with dogs and I’ve totally lucked out this year with sessions – so many of them brought their pups! And if that wasn’t the icing on the cake, this is the first of three of my 2017 couples who have two furry family members that will be joining them for their engagement session. I’m so excited to share these with you… and then jet off to my second engagement session with two people AND two pups! I LOVE PUPPIES!

Ok. Now that I’ve got that out of my system, let me tell you just how pumped I am for these guys’ October 2017 wedding. They’re going to be tying the knot at a new-to-me Indianapolis wedding venue that I am seriously jazzed for. I’m going to keep you waiting in suspense, though. 😉 When Torey and I first emailed about their wedding planning, she mentioned that she was looking for candid, documentary style photography coverage, which is right up my alley. But then she mentioned that she wanted the day to be all about them, capturing every little moment of their details, traditions, and celebrations and I was instantly on board. Hello!? What photographer doesn’t want to spend the whole day making it all about the bride and groom!? Sure, I understand the importance of wedding party photos and family photos, and we’ll be sure to get those for these guys, too, but making it all about them means LOTS of portrait time which is what this is all really about, right?! The bride and groom! Now, THAT is my JAM!!
