Last year I had the opportunity to break away from life amongst Indianapolis photographers and travel up to Detroit, Michigan for a stellar wedding of two fabulous people who are constantly serenading one another, in fits of giggles, and I’m convinced are the reason there is a phrase about ‘gazing lovingly into someone’s eyes’. Ahhh, so spoiled to be a traveling photographer several times a year – just so grateful that this is my job. How did that even happen!?

Angelica and I connected through her sister (who you recently saw on the blog here!) and instantly connected. How could anyone not!? She truly is the easiest person to get along with and when we text, it’s usually filled with emojis and exclamation marks, which are totally my jam. Plus, she has a dog. So obviously we are meant to be…

So you can only imagine how thrilled I was when she reached out early in the year to snag one of my 2016 traveling session dates for their anniversary session. Insert all the heart emojis here — <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 …. you get the idea. I was so excited to get them in front of my camera again and had not-so-secretly spent much of my time admiring their pics from their 2015 wedding since they are my sample album and gallery I show at consultations for my future couples!

So, back in front of my camera again this year (and hopefully many, many more years yet to come)…. here they are!
