This past month has been busier than I ever expected it to be. I initially had planned to stop shooting mid-June in order to have all sessions wrapped up and delivered by late-June. The plan was to go on maternity leave at the start of July. With this being my first, I had no way of anticipating how I would be feeling (or what I would feel like doing). As the month of June went on, I had no complaints and booked a few more sessions…. and then a few more, and a few more. I officially shot my last pre-maternity-leave session last Friday and it only seemed fitting that it was an Indianapolis maternity photography session. Let me tell you, it’s a lot easier to model posing to a fellow expecting mama, than to non-pregnant clients… especially at 37.5 weeks.
I first met Sarah and Cordon a few years ago for an anniversary session. We connected this time for their maternity photos and I am so excited for them to welcome their baby boy, Emmett, into the world in a couple of months. I’ll get to see them again in their new home (and with the pups) once they bring him home! These two ventured out to me for their session in case my own little one decided to make an early arrival, but we made it through our session just fine. The temperatures (and the breeze!) gave us pregnant mamas a break and we had a beautiful evening by the water.
Sarah was absolutely stunning and Cordon couldn’t be any sweeter to his wife and son. This may be the fastest I’ve ever turned around a session and I’m thrilled for them to have these photos to look back on as they get closer to becoming a family of three. To the Gregory’s I cannot wait to see you two grow into parents and look forward to seeing you all in a couple of months!
