If you’re a client of mine, then it’s no secret that I’m an over-shooter. It’s been a few years now since I’ve seen this family and while I knew the boys had grown up, I don’t think I was prepared for just how much they had grown. They last time I saw them they were jumping into the creek at the end of our session and now they’re … grown. Though, in all fairness, if it had been warm out, I’m not sure anything would’ve stopped them from still jumping into the creek.
We snuck in these fall family photos at Eagle Creek Park on the morning of the biggest wind storm we’ve had all year. Chandra and I went back and forth about going forward with our session, but decided to go for it and I’m so glad we did, because by the end of this day, most of that glorious color you see behind them was gone. Of all of the sessions I’ve had with Chandra and Jim and the boys over the year, the majority of them have been cold… and some of them, snowy! With the boys being older this year, it was easier for them to handle the cold – I never heard a single complaint and they laughed their way through most of it! They even had some fun with their seasonal face masks (or on this day, they were more like face warmers) in true 2020 fashion!
