It’s fall family photography time and it’s by far my busiest year to-date, which means tons of awesome blog posts for you all, plus gorgeous fall colors! I first met this adorable family of three back in June for their first milestone session. It’s amazing what a difference a few months can make – they grow so, so quickly at this age! It’s always such a privilege getting to see them every few months during their first year. It’s such a treat to see their personalities shine through as they learn to navigate the world.

For Bianca’s 10-month milestone session we took to the creek! This is one of my very favorite spots to shoot and it works perfect for milestone sessions based on the timing and the lighting. Not to mention it’s secluded and gooorrrggeeeoouuussss. Their spring session is one of my favorites, so I was really excited to get them in front of the camera again, but this time during my favorite season of the year. It was a bit chilly (WHAT is going on Indiana!?), but Bianca held on and eventually donned a beanie that was just cuteness overload.

These guys brought along Andy’s childhood rocking chair to their spring session and while Bianca wasn’t a fan at that point (it’s hard to enjoy a rocking chair if you can’t really sit up on your own too well, yet!) she loves it now. It’s the perfect helped in letting her stand and climb as she moves towards learning how to walk. I love the sentiment in having something passed from generation to generation and get excited when families include these items in their sessions.
