It’s funny to think I met Katie about a year ago now. All of our contact we’ve had for her and Sean’s 2022 wedding has been over the phone, but I first met Katie at Emma and Sean’s engagement session when she came along as a puppy wrangler. And in continuing with the tradition, Katie and Sean brought along their friend Katie to wrangle Ollie during our session, so if engagement-session-puppy-wranglers are meant to become brides, then I’ll see her next year. 😉

Katie and Sean planned their downtown Indianapolis engagement session around some of their favorite places and spaces. They’re new(er) to Indianapolis and will be having their 2022 wedding at Central Library downtown. We started out in their neighborhood around Fall Creek Place and then they pulled a superman switching into formalwear and finishing up their session at the War Memorial and Obelisk Square. I don’t think I’ve ever taken such glamorous photos at the War Memorial before, so if you’re still with me here be sure to scroll allllll the way to the end.

Shooting engagement sessions (hello, engagement season!) always leaves me so excited for these weddings and then I have to wait a whole winter season. Katie and Sean, I cannot wait to celebrate you all next year. I think we need to recreate the running photo in your wedding attire. Just saying. I’ll bring the portable fans. 🤣 See you in 2022!
