Guess what!? This year’s 2019 Beachbody Summit was held here in Indianapolis again, which meant I had a chance to see this team again! You may remember their Beachbody team headshots from last year, and this year their team has grown and there are some new faces in the mix. It was such a treat to meet these women last year and I was a bit giddy at the idea of seeing and photographing them again this year, especially since last year we had unpredictable weather that kept us from shooting outside and really capturing the city.

Most of the coaches who come to these summits come from out of town. When I went downtown for their session, the area was just packed with people attending the event, plus teams out and about getting their own sessions done! This year, this team stayed at the JW Marriott, so we decided to use the canal and White River State Park areas as the backdrop for their session – a perfect way to highlight one of the city’s best features. This will be their last year attending the summit in Indy, as it’s back in New Orleans next year and then who knows where from there! We shot our session in the afternoon before the opening ceremonies of the summit, so we had to get creative with locations in order to avoid the sun as it was still pretty high in the sky, but we had beautiful weather with just a touch of heat and humidity. LOL. Kidding. We were melting.

We started out our session much like last year – a few of the coaches opted in for some individual headshot time, including some fitness photos. Huge thanks to the Marriott for letting us use a corner of their gorgeous gym for these shots – it was perfect for us! Each of these women got a mix of indoor and outdoor shots, a variety of outfits and looks, and a chance to capture a bit more of their personality and style in their headshots. Everyone also got matching headshots shot along the canal when we met up with the full group, along with fun team shots all around the area. There may have even been a champagne toast! 😉
