I’m so excited to share this Bridgewater Club wedding for so many reasons. First of all, it’s the first full wedding of the 2018 season (which I’m so excited about!), and second of all… two words. WINTER WEDDING. When I met with Anna and Nick back in the fall, Anna expressed how she envisioned snowy outdoor portraits, and while we missed the snow by a few days – both before and after their wedding – we were still able to get outside for a good portion of the day. It rained almost the whole day, and our outdoor plans were just about to come to a halt, when the rain stopped and the sun even peeked out! We took full advantage and lucked out again with a gorgeous sunset for our post-ceremony portraits. Despite the winter temps, we made the most of it and I am so glad we did!
You may remember Anna and Nick’s engagement session from the fall and if you don’t it’s worth sneaking a peek at before continuing. It’s important to note that Nick might be one of the most affable people I’ve met and it’s clear to see through this collection that these two are loved and adored by many. It’s always such a privilege to watch two people tie the knot from the outskirts in the room and capture little eyebrow raises, goofy faces, and silly smirks as a couple reminisces about their journey up to this point before sealing it all with a kiss. There were so many special moments and details tucked into #happilyharbin that it’s hard to feature them all. My favorite part of their day was when Anna’s dear friend and officiant shared the story of how they met – an accidental wrong number dial. 😉
To Anna and Nick, you are clearly meant to be – it’s just that simple. From that very first phone call through your wedding day, the universe has wholeheartedly been on your side, rooting for you. Endless years of happiness to you both!
