It was just over a year ago that I met Brittany and her mom to talk about Brittany and Nolan’s 2019 wedding. Their venue was just in the beginning stages of being built and The Bluffs at Conner Prairie wedding would be one of the first few celebrated at the venue. They showed me digital sketches of the planned space and when Brittany visited the venue during the later stages of building, it was just as gorgeous as planned. Brittany and Nolan’s plan was to have an outdoor feel within their indoor space, not knowing what October weather would bring, but they lucked out with the most gorgeous October day for their outdoor ceremony, complete with the dreamiest dappled light shining through the trees.

I got to know Brittany and Nolan a bit more during their fall engagement session from last year and one thing stood out to me most. First, that the two of them are perfectly matched for one another – couples that show up to sessions and just laugh and play together with little direction from me are my favorite kinds of couples to shoot. Showing up to capture their day just a couple of weeks ago, I knew I could expect a day filled with laughter and adventure, happiness and gratitude. And it was exactly that. There were sweet tears all around as the little moments of their day came together as they were surrounded by their family and friends and everyone celebrated these two as they came together as one.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.! I wish you endless years of happiness in the decades to come!
