Lifestyle Newborn Session | Indy Family Photographer

You might remember these two (now three!) from this maternity session from a couple of months ago. When Ashleigh chose a date for her lifestyle newborn session, she picked the date spot-on. Indianapolis Family Photographer | Fall Family Sessions

It’s officially fall family session time and this Indianapolis family photographer could NOT be happier about it. It truly is my favorite time of year (second only to Christmas). To kick things off, my first family was a summer reschedule (thank goodness that storm came through because it was just WAY too hot that day!)…

Indianapolis Photographer | How I Became a Photographer

Last month I saw an awesome post about how Sue Bryce got her very first camera returned to her as a gift from the woman who had bought it. This post sent me on a mental hunt to find out what had happened to my own first camera. Of course, during this journey down memory lane…

This is awesome! My first camera is right next door, in the hands of an amazing 16 year old with a natural eye for composition. Loved this 🙂ReplyCancel

Allison, that’s a truly beautiful story! I love how you’ve passed on your camera… and likely supported the next generation of photographers!ReplyCancel

This is great! My first camera I “bought” myself from saving up stamps in the little booklet at the grocery store…I was 9…it was hot pink plastic and surprisingly lasted me through high school. It’s somewhere on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico after a night out on our Senior trip. Those images are probably best left unseen 😉ReplyCancel

That’s so awesome! Would love to see the winning photo! My very 1st film slr (canon ae-1) which was given to me by my dad (who died 16 yrs ago) recently made its way back to me! I gave it to my teenaged niece like 15 years ago! My 1st dslr was gifted to a girl in Sweden!ReplyCancel

Indianapolis Photographers | A Winter Family Session

How lucky am I!? I scheduled with these guys for the beginning of January when the weather was still teasing us with spring temperatures and beautiful sunny skies. Of course, as we got closer to our session, the weather inevitably turned to the norm for Indy winters and we pushed back until things cleared up…

Indianapolis Family Photographer | The Adolay Family

I also hope you hugged family, stayed warm (it was so toasty here we had the windows open all day!), ate, drank, and were more-than-merry. I’m back on track now for the next few weeks before I take a much-needed Christmas break. What…

Indianapolis Family Photographer | One Year Session

When Cacelia and I first connected about scheduling Xavier’s one year session, I was immediately excited. She had obviously been looking forward to this milestone session for a while and had been planning and prepping diligently on her end. She put so much time and effort into preparing for the session (which if you can imagine…
