Alex and Lindsay and their gorgeous Skyline Club wedding are one of my favorite stories to share because I’ve been with them from the beginning. This post feels like everything coming full circle (literally… Monument Circle) back to the beginning of our time together and the beginning of their marriage journey. It seems like not that long ago we were standing out in the absolutely frigid cold, we’re talking painfully cold, waiting for a spot to open up on the monument steps to sneak in Alex’s proposal as a total surprise to Lindsay. We shot their engagement photos last fall, yet it feels like just yesterday, and they said their vows at the gorgeous St. Elizabeth Seton in Carmel earlier this month.
This pair is made up of two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Both of them are thoughtful and selfless, and deserved to be so surrounded by so much love on their wedding day. It was so special to see so many family and friends there rooting for them as they invited every guest to share in their entrance into their reception. It was packed and the joy in the room was just indescribable. To be in the middle of it all was like being wrapped in a giant (dancing) hug.
Antique Limo of Indy supplied a beautiful white trolley to take us around the city, making a special stop by Monument Circle for some reminiscing and some quick portraits, before jetting off to University Park to spend time dancing under the trees. The weather was perfect, the wedding party was a blast, and the band played into the night. And if it all didn’t get wrapped up in a nice, neat bow, their venue space looked down right onto where it all began a year and a half ago.
To Alex and Lindsay, thank you for having me along for this wild ride and congratulations to you both. Your story is just as sweet as you all are and I wish you the best. Here’s to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
