Tiffany and Matthew’s Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion wedding marks my first wedding of 2022 and the kickoff to this year’s wedding season. It also marks my third Garden Pavilion wedding and each time I fall more and more in love with the space. I mean, what photographer wouldn’t love a venue surrounded entirely by windows with gorgeous white fabric draped from the ceiling, perfect for bouncing light from?
Tiffany and Matthew chose an elegant and classic color scheme for their midday wedding and lunch reception and it was timeless. Blooms by Dragonfly did an absolutely stunning job with the florals, complementing the space so well that when I turned around and saw the sun streaming through highlighting the centerpieces I think I audibly gasped, much to the alarm of those standing around me.
And while this marks my first luncheon reception, I hope it was simply the first of many more to come. I’ve always been an early bird and often find myself sitting around on wedding days anxiously waiting to get to the venue, greet my couples, and start documenting their celebrations. It suited me perfectly to roll out of bed, grab a snack, and head over to the Garden Pavilion. And then to be wrapping up at dinner time? The only thing I missed about the changed timeline was sunset portraits. Otherwise, hello beautiful natural venue light and evenings where I can still say good night to my kids at home!
