It’s hard for me to believe that it was already over a month ago that we shot maternity photos for these two and now sweet Sadie Rae is here. I met her when she was just three weeks old and alert as can be. She spent most of our session staring into Mom and Dad’s eyes and even sharing a couple of sweet smiles with mom. I’m always partial to a newborn session at home when baby is awake for part (or all!) because I love to see their little personalities, and that eye contact always gets me.

Natalie and Matt make new parent life look easy and relaxing – each one savoring all of the new aspects of having a new, itty-bitty member as part of their family. I said it yesterday on the blog, but there’s not much more that fills my photographer soul than seeing my couples grow their families and be able to capture it all for them. I’ve loved every moment I’ve spent with Natalie and Matt over the last year – they make everyone around them feel welcomed and cared for, and I was so eager to see them in their new lifestyle and parenting roles. I’ve already raved to Natalie, but each session with them is a dream – they’re both so photogenic and relaxed in front of the camera, that my job is made so easy… until it comes to culling their session and I have waaayyyyy too many to choose from!

To Natalie and Matt, congratulations on your newest addition and welcome to the world, sweet Sadie. You have the most wonderful parents (and fur brothers!) and are sure to enjoy every moment of your new adventure.
