It’s officially spring. And while it may not feel or look like it here in Indy, it is. Spring means getting back into shooting after spending some time hibernating and working on secret projects for my business for a few months. This year I had a bit less time for these projects than normal, but I am so excited to kick off my spring season with a maternity session at Potter’s Bridge in Noblesville… winter temperatures and all.
Ashleigh and Mitch are expecting their baby boy this May and I’m already looking forward to some warmer temps with them for their newborn lifestyle session. It’s such a thrill to be able to capture the progression of a growing family and Ashleigh was stunning in her blue, floral print dress. It was the perfect pop of spring against the wintery limbs and muddy grounds around the park.
Huge thanks to these two for trekking through the brush and mud (okay, …mostly mud) with me to find the perfect spot. I promised them in the moment that it would be worth it, despite the inches of mud stuck to their feet and the wobbly ground, and am excited to share these images with them to follow through on my word. Sometimes you just have to get off of the beaten path to find some location gold. To top it all off, I asked them to walk that path about 6 times before getting the shot I was looking for, but just look…. 😍.
