Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Friesen! I was thrilled to be a part of their big day last Saturday when they tied the knot in a way that suited them perfectly. The weather was beautiful, the water felt wonderful, and there was plenty of fun and excitement to be had by all. This is just a tiny peak into all of the festivities throughout the day! With Marie as a stunning bride and Jeff as a sharp groom, this couple said their “I do’s” barefoot and headed down to the water. Holding up their dresses and rolling up their pants they splashed through the water for a ride on the pontoon boats and over to their reception. Marie told me just a few days before her big day that she was and is a ‘lake girl’ at heart and she wanted her wedding to represent that about her. She and Jeff celebrated in style with a wild flowers, mason jars, a bonfire, and tents in the back yard – and it couldn’t have been more perfect for them.
