Indianapolis Wedding Photographer | casey and her camera
Life changes so quickly… you can see this if you get a chance to sit down and really think about it. Just a couple of years ago, Leah and I were working at Milan High School. Flash forward to working for the same company in two different states, then flash again to working together in sunny California. Flash! Leah and Scott reunite after many years as distant friends. Flash! They’re engaged! Leah moves to Chicago. Flash! We’re all in Florida (ahhh, how relaxing) and FLASH! They’re married!
What an incredible journey it has been being friends with this couple – I wouldn’t trade a split second of it for anything in the world. As human beings, both Leah and Scott are about as beautiful as they get – inside and out. I was moved to tears when they asked me to be their photographer – I was sitting in the only spot cell reception reached at a camp in Big Bear, CA. I had to ask Leah out loud if she wanted me to be her photographer – just to make sure I’d heard correctly and not been tricked by a glitch in the call.
The day was a whirlwind of laughter and tears, which I’ve had the pleasure of reliving each time I open the folders to edit the images. Here is a sneak peek to the start of the next step of their journey. Best wishes to both of you – there aren’t suitable enough words in the universe for me to describe how happy I am for the both of you.
Much love,
Casey
