Sometimes I wonder if I continue to gush about being an Indianapolis wedding photographer and the couples I work with you all will begin to doubt the truth in my words, but YOU GUYS. HOW have I gotten so lucky in this work that I do!? There is so much sweetness about being a photographer – and a wedding photographer, at that – and right at the top of that list are all these sweet, sweet souls that I meet along the way.
I first met and photographed Betsy and Nate last year at their engagement session and from the moment I pulled up next to them in the parking lot I knew I adored them both. They greeted me like we were old friends, with huge smiles and excited chatter. If you really want to hear (read) me gush, just click over to their engagement session. See? I knew it then that I adored them and I still know it now. So showing up to shoot their wedding last month had me all kinds of giddy for them. I wanted nothing but the more perfect day for them and it all played out to be just that. Both of these people have hearts of gold and souls that just shine glitter out into the world. They are kind and thoughtful (they kept checking on me on their wedding day), positive and passionate… the list for these two go on and on, and the number of people who showed up to celebrate them on their wedding day are just some of the lives they have touched.
The truth is, I put together these blog posts not as a showcase of my work, but as a highlight reel for my clients. I know and understand that not all family and friends can always make it when my couples tie the knot and these posts serve as a chance for them to share with those guests who were dearly missed on this day and include them in all the festivities. To Betsy and Nate, endless congratulations and celebrations to you both. Thank you for having me and many, many years of bliss to come!
I think Truly needs to pick this up for advertising use. Who’s with me!?
