I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll say it again, I LOVE when seniors bring people along to their shoots. Joanna chose to bring her two friends along and we snagged a couple of photos of them at the beginning of the shoot. All three girls are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, and the lighting at Coxhall Gardens didn’t hurt either. 😉

When I showed up to the Gardens on the evening of Joanna’s shoot, I was shocked at how many photographers were there – I’ve never seen so many in one place all at once! You may remember Krissy’s senior shoot at the gardens a few months ago – and this trip didn’t disappoint, either.It truly is a stunning location and perfect for senior photos… or family photos, or whatever your little heart desires.

As Joanna and I chatted throughout her session I learned a bit about her. Not only does this girl have natural beauty on her side of the court, she just so happens to have the rest of it, too – brains AND brawn. A former softball player and ambitious education and career goals, she was a pleasure to spend the evening with.

And so it began…

I will admit, Joanna has prior modeling experience and takes direction fantastically. While it always takes a bit to get warmed up in front of a camera, it took her less time than most and she has 100% MASTERED eye-contact with a lens.

See? Friends off-camera=1000 watt smile on camera. Love. I may have jokes, but they’re never as good as the laughs from those who know you.
