Indianapolis Photographers | King Arthur is One

If you love babies in suspenders (WHO DOESN’T!?) then this post is for you!

Early last week I got a chance to meet a new family… and my favorite kind – the kind with kids and dogs! I LOVE it when my family clients bring along their pups to our sessions, even if they only make it the first 15 minutes of our shoot because of all of the excitement. My husband and I take our dogs to every one of our sessions, as well, and we know what a crazy experience it is for our photographer, but we just want them there. They’re part of the family, too, and like many of the families I shoot, these fur babies were once the only child and will forever be the first child!

I knew these guys were bringing their pup along to the shoot when we scheduled, but when they all piled out of the car at Holliday Park (which is PERFECT for wintery shoots because of all the variation in landscapes!) I just wanted to squeeze them! Brittany did a top-notch job in styling everything for their outfits and bringing along a few special props for our session, the weather was just right for a February birthday shoot, and the sun peeked out for us after a wild day of wind and clouds. It was magical!

We celebrated Arthur turning one (just one day before our session!) with story time, cheerios, and a crown fit for a king… King Arthur, that is. 😉
Arthur is just learning to walk on his own and these will just steal your heart. <3

Those fine baby-curls don’t last forever and it’s oh-so-sad when they’re gone.
