It’s recently been sitting in the forefront of my mind… this philosophy I have. You see, I’m a formally trained teacher, and part of that formal training means coming up with your own teaching philosophy that sums you up (and your teaching style) and you strive to be that each and every day. So as an Indianapolis photographer, I just have it in my head that I have a photographing-philosophy, but I just haven’t shared it yet. And I will… but I’m saving that post for the end of the year. 😉
However, all of these recent families I’ve met and photographed this fall – they wholeheartedly embody my philosophy, maybe without ever having known we were so in sync with one another’s beliefs. Take these guys, for example, a family of 5 – each with their own, unique personality and energy… they come together for an evening session and complete magic happens. Not just in the lighting, but in the way they interact with and love one another.
This is what family is.
So to the Paulick family, thank you for putting up with the drizzle and not even batting an eye when it came out of nowhere (and cleared just as quickly). Thank you for being real, for hugging, loving, laughing, and living in these images. Thank you for making this session your own and for sharing these moments with me.
It was all my pleasure.
