Last week I had the pleasure of shooting senior portraits for these class of 2017 Zionsville twins. Carly and Katie shared their session so that they could get plenty of photos together in addition to their individual shots… and so they could keep each other entertained and giggling with their ridiculous antics in the background. 😉

Coxhall Gardens is always a favorite spot for my senior sessions, and some of my families, as well. There’s such a variety of backdrops to choose from throughout the park, but I have to admit I was a bit thrown off this time when I showed up and the grass is being re-seeded in front of the barn/silo and my favorite field has been mowed to the ground as new construction on a house is beginning. We quickly recovered from these curveballs and ventured out into some other areas of the park to be showered with light breezes and perfectly coordinated fall weeds blooming in our background. Lucky for this Indianapolis photographer, I lucked out with some roll-with-the-punches clients who were up for anything – and laughed their way through it all!

I LOVELOVELOVE when parents accompany their seniors to their sessions and it steals my heart when we get them in a few shots. Congratulations to all three of these lovely ladies on this year of accomplishments and celebrations. Class of 2017!!
