I’m so excited to be wrapping up my 2014 shoots on this fine 2015 day! While home for the holidays I had a couple of shoots with Michigan families and couples and have officially sent out the galleries and packages as of this morning. Don’t worry, these folks knew their images would be a bit delayed because of the holidays and my commitment to take family time this year.

One of the families I photographed took advantage of my Shorties being offered this year, only. It was totally worth it, too, since I’m an avid over-shooter, love lifestyle photography, and basically just got to hang out with these guys for part of my morning.  This family is NOT disappointed about the fact that I returned 2.5 times the amount of images promised. 😉

If you have been following for a while, then you will know this family. They came to Colorado for family and engagement photos a few years ago, got married in 2014, and are now expecting the newest addition to their family in the spring!

Always coordinated (thanks to the momma of the family) their family photos are always some of my favorites – not because of their trendy fashion sense, but because I heart them all. You can read their story in the wedding post linked above!

I just love the stories that lifestyle images tell. <3

Quite possibly my fav from the shoot….

This was probably right after Lily asked ‘Momma, can I smell your breath?’. To which Taylor replied ‘NO’ pretty outrageously. Lily then broke into hysterical giggles yelling ‘I already did! I smelled your breath!’.

I love how little kids operate and process.
