Indianapolis Family Photography | A Six Month Milestone Session

I recently spent the evening at the park with the cutest little six-month-old you ever did see. She was wide-eyed and completely curious about the camera and made our entire evening a breeze. Her momma and I connected back in February about scheduling some sessions to mark these new milestones for their family and I’m already super excited about seeing them again in the fall for a one-year session. <3

I always ask my clients to share snapshots of their planned outfits for our session so that I can bring along a few quilts from seated shots. So when Alix sent me a photo of this adorable outfit and told me she was planning on bringing along a bag of lemons, this is exactly what came to mind, but there was no guarantee that Leighton would be even remotely interested in the lemons. Lucky for me, the girl’s a born natural and helped us get the shot. 😉

Huge thanks to this family for running with our session and staying past bedtimes. I cannot wait for you to see our ending shots (keep scrolling!) where we ended with the most perfect sunset with my favorite kind of cloudy skies. Enjoy, and I’ll see you in the fall!
