Indianapolis Family Photographers | Family Session at the IMA

Guess what time of year it is?! It’s time for my annual Valentine’s Day session with this family!! I look forward to this every year, now, and this is our third year of this tradition! Things tend to slow down around mid-December and it’s always nice knowing that this family is just around the corner for their annual family session. It blows my mind just how quickly Jeff is growing (almost FOUR!) and I was shocked to show up and find a little man at this session. He’s so quickly leaving those baby years behind… slow down, Jeffrey!

After a series of weather-rescheduled (WHAT is going on, Indiana!?) we finally managed to squeeze our session in on a cloudy evening with chilly temperatures that didn’t require us to be bundled to the nines at all times. We shot our session at the IMA out on the grounds in the gardens, at the Lily House, and even over in the greenhouse. Both Lindsay and Jason work at the IMA and know all of the special people that run these facilities and we were so fortunate to have been invited to shoot there.

To top it all off, we ended the session with a special anniversary segment just for Lindsay’s parents. You may remember them from our shoot a couple of summers ago, and it was so special to help them celebrate their 41st anniversary with a few couple’s photos just for them. Happy anniversary to them, happy almost-birthday to Jeff, and a happy new year to all of these people! See you soon!
