Years ago, before making my way around the country and settling into Indianapolis, I worked as a teacher at Milan High School in Michigan, I fell into incredibly fortunate contact with a group of teachers who turned out to be some of the best people I could ever know. Over the years, we formed a circle of friendship with each other and our spouses that I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for. I’ve always found it difficult to make friends – even more so in my adult years. I’ve now been gone from Michigan for six years, but each time I’m back for a visit, I get to see these folks… and now their kiddos… and it truly makes my year.
This past visit home to the mitten, I not only got to see them for some friend time, but I got to have a few of them in front of my camera, as well. This is the first time I’ve been able to photograph these guys – and actually meet Preston – and I am so excited to be in the process of uploading a HUGE first-time gallery for them. Hey… when you bring along two crazy pups, an adorable birthday boy, and some pretty great parents, that’s just what happens. I’m not sorry about it! 😉
Here’s a quick look into a sample of some of my favorites from their session. Looking forward to seeing you all again at Christmas!
The hand on the head… my heart. <3 <3 <3
