Last month I had the most amazing opportunity to meet with five families over the course of two days. While I’m primarily an Indianapolis family photographer, I’m also a traveling photographer and love getting the chance to travel for work and meet new people in new places. This time my work took me up to Michigan for an afternoon/evening and then over to Chicago for the day.

I connected with Third Street, an attention agency, earlier this year over a campaign they were working on for CHH, a law firm specializing in medical malpractice based out of Chicago. While not every one of the families I was working with has had the opportunity to meet and work with this amazing firm, those that had raved about them and consider them to be family after all they’ve been through together. It was heartwarming, it was empowering, and I could not feel better about contributing to this campaign. I am proud to stand behind their mission and their work.

I shared one sneak peek of each family on Facebook during June, but wanted to take a moment to highlight each of the five families over the next week. This first family was added on at the last minute (thank you for being so flexible!!) and completely rocked their session. Since these were all lifestyle sessions, it meant just a regular day at home (or at the park) as it fit the family and this family started my trip out strong with totally on point styling, games and puzzles, Play-Doh, video games, watering the flowers, playing with the pet guinea pig, swings, scooters, and more. It’s always a treat for me to see a bit into people’s lives and explore how unique and beautiful each family dynamic is. Thanks for starting my trip off right!
