Just a little over two weeks ago I met the Bridgeman family at one of my favorite (and totally secret) locations here in Indy. I already knew I was excited for this session because if there’s an age group I love working with (maybe even more than teenagers) it’s toddlers. So when these two showed up with the cutest little almost-two-year-old, I just started grinning at her. Which promptly terrified her more than the mylar balloon she’d been riding with in the car, but she warmed up to me throughout the session. 😉

Of course, when we started out she wanted nothing to do with the crazy-grinning-lady-with-the-black-box-in-her-face. That’s me. The crazy, grinning, SWEATY Indianapolis family photographer. Have I mentioned that I met this family on what may have been the most HUMID Indy night of this summer so far? Seriously… I was standing still and sweat was just pooling off of me. YUM.

Naturally, this Momma makes it look easy. She must be immune to humidity. She was completely un-phased. It’s like a superhero power or something. Jarrod, on the other hand, was so dashing in his jeans-and-button-down ensemble, but probably had to suffer through it more than any of the rest of us. Thanks for being such a trooper, Jarrod! I know it wasn’t easy, but you made it and you ROCKED it!
