Indianapolis Family Photographer | casey and her camera
Not too long ago I blogged a teaser of this family session and focused on the matriarch that made it all possible… Nana. Normally, extended family shoots can be really difficult to shoot. I’ve found in the past that usually there’s 1 or 2 people who don’t particularly want to be in front of the camera, babies have different feeding and sleeping schedules, the weather will throw a curve ball, etc. There’s usually SOME element of surprise when y ou get groups larger than 5-6 people together to coordinate a photo shoot.
And yet EVERYTHING ran smoothly in this session. Seriously. The weather was PERFECT, the location was gorgeous (Loyola Marymount University has a to-die-for campus!!), the family was a downright joy to be with, and I actually left our two-hour shoot feeling a little disappointed it was over.
I kid you not – even the three-week-old was awake for some of our photos. AMAZING. So without further delay… Nana and her family… part II. <3
