Last week I featured the first of five families who were part of a series of traveling sessions I shot as part of a commercial project. I’ve been itching to share these families for a while now, and am especially excited about this one. You may remember these guys from last fall when I first had the chance to capture their adorable little family. They quickly because one of my favorite sessions – they’re easily photogenic and a blast to be around. Plus, they’re up for any craziness I can dream up! They’re the type of family that just puts this Indianapolis family photographer in photographer heaven.
And to think… I get to see them TWO more times this year! DREAM!
We met at my favorite spot to shoot in Southeast Michigan and spent two hours letting little Milo run free throughout the park. We snacked, played bubbles and ball, and even had some pajama time complete with stories and snuggles. Lifestyle sessions are my favorite style of session to shoot – whether indoor or outdoor – and when they’re complete with a pregnancy announcement and second-trimester-maternity-mini-shoot?! Count me in! Cannot wait to photograph you all again in October! <3
It can be sooooo hard to nail focus on shots like these. But to nail it AND get color in the sky!? I just don’t have the words to describe my excitement!
Annndddd because I still think this is adorable.
Shani let me know that she started showing right away with baby #2, but until she sent me belly-pics I didn’t know just how much she was showing yet. Of course, she has amazing style, too, so once I knew she was showing AND was going to be wearing an adorable dress, I just KNEW we had to get some maternity-style shots for her. Of course, there will be MANY more when she’s close to full term in the fall, but these already have me swooning. Can’t wait – see you all in a couple of months!
