It’s officially fall family session time and this Indianapolis family photographer could NOT be happier about it. It truly is my favorite time of year (second only to Christmas). To kick things off, my first family was a summer reschedule (thank goodness that storm came through because it was just WAY too hot that day!) that happened to fall on the first day of September and Mother Nature graced us with fall temperatures and gorgeous light. How did we get so lucky!?
Not to mention, this Momma has FABULOUS styling skills and stunning kiddos that are complete dolls. I left this session grinning from ear-to-ear, especially after all four kids made the long trek down to the water for a perfect sunset along the shoreline. Sigh… can fall just stay forever!?
Guess who’s two!? 😉
Hello, stunning Momma!!
It’s shots like these that totally steal my heart. I shared one over on Facebook with everyone together on the blanket and not trying to escape, but if I had my choice, this would be the canvas on the wall. I adore images that capture the moment, the movement, and the personality of each person… especially when they’re growing so fast and that personality will change so quickly. These are the family photos that I shoot for.
And, of course, I asked if Mom and Dad wanted a few photos of their own, to which the kids all cheered and plopped down on the quilt to watch… and also make barfing noises.
