I’m nearing the end of blog posts for all of the fall family photos I have to share. I mean, don’t panic yet, I still have quite a few to go from my perspective, but they’re all going to come pretty quickly now as I play catch up on fall editing now that the weather officially feels like winter. Although, admittedly, it felt a bit like winter for this session, too. Which meant the littlest one wasn’t loving our plans to take family photos that evening.
I still remember Christy and Ryan’s first session like it was yesterday and am having a hard time accepting that it was already four years ago. It doesn’t seem possible that so much time could have already passed, but just look at Wesley and how much he’s grown! It’s always a favorite moment for me to meet little clients again once they’ve become a big sibling for the first time – there’s so much maturity and pride that shows through when they move into this new role.
Marilyn was a trooper, hanging with us through the colder temperatures. Of course, the many passing dogs made it much more enjoyable for her and I shared on Instagram about one passing walker who was nice enough to stop with her dog for Marilyn to look at and talk to while we took a few photos.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and your festivities carry over into and throughout the weekend!
