Indianapolis Family Photographer | casey and her camera
Have you ever wondered what a typical Longmont weekend looks like for Brad and I (and Pogo)? No? Well, that’s ok. I’ll share with you, anyway. I treated myself to some new glass recently and took it along on our weekend shenanigans this time. This is what we typically do on Saturday and Sunday, it’s just not usually documented or with such high-fashion attire.
And if you really want to see my most embarrassing outfit EVER, I have included it for you at the end. Plus, the world’s most awesome dog-blooper photo.
ENJOY!
Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVELOVELOVE living here!? UGH!
I rarely am in photos, so this is really special for me. Also, I’m laughing half out of humor, but mostly our of terror. Pogo is straight CRAZY when she’s riled up. Straight from the workout room and some intense yoga, I bring you my finest weekend attire. Keep scrolling for what I was REALLY wearing pre-this-photo. 😉
See? Typical. Keep your hand at a distance, she doesn’t have very good aim. (She’s not aiming for hands or limbs, but just really wants to tug the leash out of your hand and run FFFREEEEEEE!!!!) I like to think she’s just flossing. 🙂
Ok, and now for some awesome bloopers. Pogo started out on the OTHER side of me in this shot. There’s a series of images taken by Brad as she cuts me off, I stumble, regain balance, and try to continue running in a straight-ish line. This is when she reaches the end of her trajectory (aiming towards an oncoming dog, of course) and the rules of physics come into play. If you see the shots leading up to this she is the happiest dog in the world because she thinks she’s getting away with it and is going to pounce on her new frienemy. This shot KILLS me. It’s like she had no idea it was coming. Her face says it all. Caption away, friends! <3
And now, for the best outfit EVER. I said above I came from the day’s workout. I was sweaty, and NOT dressed for the surprisingly frigid temperatures that these images do not convey. I was a giant-windsuit-stay-puff-marshmallow-man… but in black. So I lost a couple of layers and wah-lah! I look like a normal person! There are better shots of this with the wind billowing out my three-sizes-too-large sweat clothes, but at least my running forms redeems me slightly in this one. Good use of the arms, Casey.
