I’m so very excited to share this Indianapolis engagement photography session with you all, but more than anything, I am GEEKED (do people even say that anymore?) to shoot this wedding in January. We’re talking counting the days, excited. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed so much at an engagement session, and my heart just dances thinking about these two tying the knot.

Anna and Nick are friends of Torey and Kyle, and Nick was one of the groomsmen at their wedding (stay tuned for those photos!). I met with these two a couple of months ago and from the moment Nick met me in the brewery parking lot to help me find parking on a crazy opening night of a new, next-door brewery, I knew these were people that I not only wanted to work with, but to get to know. I sat between them as we talked through details and as I looked back and forth at them, I could just see how strong of a fit they are for one another. And then their engagement session happened.

If you follow along on Facebook, you already know that I had a hard time keeping it together during this session. Nick. Is. HILARIOUS. Just ask Anna. At one point I had to start holding my breath while shooting because I couldn’t stop shaking from laughter and I figured that if I couldn’t breath, I couldn’t laugh. Laughing photos are my all-time favorite, and this session is filled with them.

Anna and Nick, congratulations on your engagement. Your love is contagious (as is your humor) and I cannot wait to spend a full day by each of your sides in January.
