Vanessa and I connected back in May when she stumbled across one of my blog posts on her search for Indianapolis elopement photographers. As we began emailing, she then found this post of Lindley and Zeke’s Neidhammer elopement from earlier this year and immediately fell for the venue. I mean, can you blame her!? There’s just so many things about the place that make you want to swoon.
Vanessa and Art’s elopement marks the second time a couple has planned their elopement date around my availability. It is, quite possibly, the largest compliment I’ve ever been paid and something I will always remember. We were very easily able to settle on a date that worked for all parties (and their family and friends) and Vanessa was off and running their their planning.
I am always drawn to the little things that couples include in their day as I believe these small details are really where our stories lie, and Vanessa and Art’s day was filled with these special pieces. Their daughters wore dresses that mimicked Vanessa’s, there were memorials to remember parents and grandparents, and toasted with their closest family and friends. The only thing missing from their perfect day was their pup, Penelope, who had prior commitments and couldn’t attend. 😂 Don’t worry, though, we’re going to fix that. 😉
Congratulations, Vanessa and Art, and thank you for having me! Enjoy the newlywed life!
