If you’ve been a reader of mine for a while now, you probably know my feeling about exclamation points. I love them! And I absolutely overuse them. Guilty! You may also know that I feel you can tell a person’s personality and energy through the way that they type emails or text messages. I know this is sort of backwards to the business teachings of not reading into email communications and not being able to clearly gather emotional tones of typed text, but I just disagree. When people write me I can hear their voice in my head (okay, maybe I give them one) and I can tell if they’re excited or not… usually through their use of exclamation marks. And as an Indianapolis couple photographer I LOVELOVELOVE when people use exclamation marks as much as I do. I just feed off of their excitement!

So when Kelley reached out about their 2017 wedding I immediately adored her. She came across as excited and bubbly and turned out to be just that when we met in person for the first time. So as we began planning her engagement session she just radiated enthusiasm and with each exchange we both became more and more excited. So as I was planning which images to share in this post (VERY difficult to narrow it down with this one… Andrew and Kelley are just too perfect!) I initially thought I would fill an entire post with photos of Kelley laughing and it would make everyone’s Friday… or maybe even week. She has one of those whole body laughs that fills a room (or a park!) and is instantly contagious. Laughing smiles are my FAVORITE and Kelley has a killer one.

I decided not to, though, because I want to showcase a little bit of everything with this post while these two sit on the edges of their seats waiting for their gallery to come in much earlier than expected. 😉

I cannot WAIT to shoot your wedding next year, you two! I had such a blast with you this week and look forward to celebrating you next spring!

Guess where these two are getting married? Yep. Lucas Oil Stadium. And I think we need to recreate this in their wedding attire. <3
