Indianapolis Family Photographer | casey and her camera
This post has been on my ‘To-Blog’ list for about 6 weeks now… I’ve just been MIA from the blogging scene… no excuses. If you saw this post, here, than you may have been following some of these casey and her camera that have been happening over the last year. The biggest change of all was to officially open my doors to business. This month marks the one-year-anniversary of the birthday of casey and her camera! Big thanks to this girl and her wedding, I was pushed to take legal action and necessary steps to get myself established before flying to Florida to photograph her beach wedding. I’ll be honest… I’m not sure I could have/would have done it without her. It was safer to sit back and dream about this business becoming a reality, it’s another to make the jump!
With all that said and done, I wouldn’t change ONE BIT of this… not for the world.
2013 was an amazing year for so many reasons… and 2014 is already proving to be more amazing than the last. Something new that is happening this year, that happened by happy-accident last year, are seasonal sessions in Michigan! This year there are two chances to book a shoot with me back in the mitten: May & August. Of course, there will be a limited number of sessions around the Christmas holidays, but those will be announced later this year. Next year, I will be offering 4 seasons of sessions in Michigan. This year is helping me establish a client base and feedback on the best times of year for folks’ photos! Folks who book a session with me this season, you will have priority over all 2015 session dates – what an advantage!
As for this year? Well, it’s nearly full! It would take far more than words to describe how full my heart feels when I look at these dates… and my calendar! With 10 slots available for May and August, there are only 3 left! I feel immensely blessed and grateful for all of the support I’ve had from this home-state. Without all of you, this business may never have been born, and most certainly wouldn’t have taken off the way it has. This is my love and joy, my heart and sole, and each and every one of you have made it just that for me. I take great pride in my work and I swell with pride when thinking of all the love and encouragement each of you have given me.
SPECIAL NOTE! May 29th has just been added to the roster as a bonus date!
Michigan, Michigan, thank you for this. Thank you for bringing me to life!
See you in May! <3
