Remember this adorable family session? Well a couple of weeks ago Najee threw a Great Gatsby surprise party for Jasmine’s 28th birthday party and I had the pleasure of capturing it all for them. It was such a great evening and everyone looked absolutely fantastic, but the progression of Jasmine’s expression as she came through the door was the best part of it all. Here’s how it all played out…

Najee plays for the Indianapolis Colts, so to get Jasmine downtown to D’Amore without her getting suspicious, he arranged a faux Colts get together at the venue. The attending players and their significant others were dressed to the nines and waiting on one side of the building, while family and friends waited on the other side, unbeknownst to Jasmine. When they arrived, they joined the team for cocktails and after a few minutes, Najee and Jasmine joined Kendra from Thomas Caterers to talk about “hosting an event”. During this time, the team filtered over onto the other side where family who had come into town in as a surprise were waiting. As Jasmine and Najee entered through the door her reaction progressed as she realized that it was, in fact, a party to celebrate her, and ended in happy tears as she laid eyes on her brother who came in all the way from Cali.

Everything went so smoothly and all of the hard work Najee put into planning every little detail went so smoothly. Hats off to the staff of Thomas Caterers who helped to pull it all off and the happiest of birthdays to the lovely Jasmine!
