I have only a handful of fall sessions to share and it’s a bittersweet feeling. For one, it means that all of these gorgeous golden tones are gone and I can’t stretch fall out any longer than I’ve already tried, but it also means that a slow, cozy, family-and-holiday focused time is right around the corner. My season usually lasts me through Thanksgiving and into the start of December, but after that, I take some time to focus on home and family and self throughout the last few weeks of the year and the start of the next. My season starts early in 2020, but I plan to savor those in between moments as the snow starts to fall (again… hopefully).
It’s hard to believe it’s been 2.5 years since I saw these five last. Our first session together ended up getting split into two because of the frigid temps that were hard on the little ones, so we got the best of both seasons – winter and spring. This time around, we had the most majestic fall backdrop for our Garfield Park family session and everyone was layered up for those November temps. I love everything that Indianapolis has to offer and finding a nature-y backdrop right in the city is so easy here.
It’s always amazing to see how quickly the kids have grown, and August and Violet were no exception to that, and even Isaac as he’s now fully immersed in his studies at IUPUI. Thanks for an evening of laughter and booty-shaking, Adrienne and Dace and kids!

Casey, you don’t just take family photos, you create treasures.
Thank you, Ann! That’s so kind of you. It’s always my goal to capture a family just as they are in this moment in time.
