Family Photography Indianapolis, Indiana | A Holiday Family Mini Session

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these guys for the last three years now (and always right around the holidays) and every time, without fail, I leave grinning. This time, my face just might have been frozen into a grin (it was pretty darn chilly along the Indianapolis canal… and windy, too!) but I was grinning nonetheless.

This year, for their annual holiday session, we met downtown at one of my absolute favorite spots to shoot along the canal. I absolutely love this view of the city and all it’s hustle-and-bustle in the background set side-by-side with the serene canal and families of ducks that nearly hop out of the canal and into your lap. We shot in super-speed to get back into the warmth of our cars (and because it was a mini session) and yet I still managed to end up with a collection of 50+ photos that I refuse to narrow down. Oops. (But not really). That’s why I told folks 10+ images… the plus is so important with me. 😉 And that is why I offer these out only to my past clients – it’s such a huge advantage with folks (especially kids!) who already know me and are used to and comfortable with what a shoot with me looks like. I just wouldn’t be able to yield the same results with first-timers in 20 minutes!

So to all of my clients, and especially to these guys, thank you for trusting me with these moments and memories year after year. There aren’t enough words to express how much you mean to me. Happy holidays, all.
