While shooting season is slowing down, editing season is currently in full swing and with that brings fall engagement session sneak peeks of my 2019 brides and grooms! You’ve already seen some of them over the last month or so, but there’s still a few more to come and I’m absolutely pumped to share. I knew Brittany and and Nolan were a good match for their 2019 wedding because they come from the same friend circle as some of my recent couples, but what really won me over is when Brittany excitedly told me how much she loveloveLOVES photos and just can’t get enough of them. Me too, girl, me too. I think sometimes I scare people off when I meet with them for a consultation and show them a sample wedding gallery – some folks love the idea of unlimited images that they have to choose from and use for life (or not use if an image doesn’t speak to them!) and some folks are a bit overwhelmed with the idea and would rather receive a few hundred images from their day. Of course, based on my style of shooting, I tend to attract those who want it all, and those folks are the best fit for me anyway because how can I possibly choose for you!?
Thankfully, I don’t have to.
Brittany and Nolan are college sweethearts brought together through their love of sports… specifically baseball and softball. Nolan has always had eyes for only Brittany, but what he also has is the incredible ability to make Brittany laugh with her whole being. Nolan wasn’t able to make it to our consultation, so I expected it to take him a while to warm up during our session, but it was quite the opposite. Nolan’s goal was to make our time together the most fun possible. He spent time whispering into Brittany’s ear, making faces, and spinning her round and round, and you can see the pure enjoyment on their faces as the session progresses. There’s nothing that brings me greater joy than when couples exclaim during their session how much fun they’re having or how easy it was once it all ends. That’s the idea! Just show up together, be together, and you might even forget that I’m there with you shouting directions into the wind!
