Indianapolis Elopement Photographer | Elopement Questionnaire

Elopement Questionnaire

This questionnaire will help me build a timeline that covers every important detail of your elopement! Here are a few tips to help get you started with the first section: 1. Make sure there is natural window light in the room where the bride will be getting ready. This makes a WORLD of difference in your images! 2. Try to have all bridal details together before I arrive. (Dress, jewelry, shoes, bouquet, garter, veil, etc) This will make the detail shots more efficient. 3. Keep the area near the window free of trash, bags, snacks, etc. This will be where the bride will be putting on her dress! 4. Allow more time than you think you need to get ready. It’s better to be safe than RUSHED! 5. Relax and have fun... you’re getting MARRIED!!

  • Depending on the package booked, this may be a nearby location for detail and getting ready photos, or this may be your venue or location where your ceremony will be held. Please include venue/hotel name and full address.
  • Detail shots typically include the dress and shoes, rings, jewelry, bouquet, and an invitation suite. Please list any additional items that you would like included, such as headwear (veil, barrettes, etc), garters, handkerchiefs, lockets, etc. This will help me take inventory upon arrival to ensure it is all captured! Feel free to share any sentimental details that may be a part of these items' stories, as well!
  • Detail shots typically include the shoes, socks, tie, cufflinks, belt/watch/suspenders, and pocket square. Please list any additional items that you would like included, such as pocket watches, handkerchiefs, letters, jackets, or anything additional you may be wearing or carrying with you. This will help me take inventory upon arrival to ensure it is all captured! Feel free to share any sentimental details that may be a part of these items' stories, as well!

  • NOTE: This is common for elopement ceremonies in order to capture reactions from any attending family or friends. This cannot be accommodated in a church setting.
  • Depending on the package booked, you may use another location for celebrations or portraits after the ceremony.
  • Please provide me with a rough timeline of your day. My goal is to help you create a timeline that will allow for plenty of beautiful portraits and a stress-free day!
  • Elopement Vendor Information

This information is important in the event of an emergency on the elopement day. It is also needed if your elopement is submitted for publication (magazines or blogs) and is used to credit your vendors when sharing images during editing. Please complete all information that applies to your wedding!
  • Once your final gallery has been delivered, I will put together and send your contributing vendors a collection of images that showcase their work. Would you like this gallery to include portraits? Should you choose to exclude images with portraits, vendors will only receive images with their work in the images, but without people. For example, your florist would receive a few images of the bouquet by itself, but not an image of you holding the bouquet. Should you choose to include portrait images, they would also receive a selection of images that feature the bride holding the bouquet, groom wearing the boutonniere, etc.

  • Family Formals

Family formals do not have to take over 30 minutes. However, this is only possible if we are organized beforehand! Please list all different groupings for family photos following the formatting below. For example: 1. Bride and groom with bride's parents. (list names) 2. Bride and groom with groom's parents. (list names) 3. Bride and Groom with bride's grandparents. (list names) 4. Bride and Groom with groom's siblings. (list names) 5. ... If you have a very large family and more than 10-15 group photos, we will need to allot more than 30 minutes for family formals. Please inform me of any family members that may not get along and/or may not want to be grouped with a certain other family members so that we can avoid and awkward interactions during family formals. Thank you!!
