October brought me a quick trip up to Michigan for a stunning wedding (coming soon!) and a few of my favorite families for fall photos. It’s always mind boggling to me to look back on past year’s sessions with families. This year’s Dexter Huron Metropark family session for Lacey and Andrew looks similar to last year’s in so many ways – sticks and running, laughter and tackles. Aside from the obvious difference in parks, the change between these two family sessions is incredible to see. Connor has grown up so much in the last year, both in size and personality. The age he is at is one of my favorites because the wonderment and excitement over their surroundings is absolutely catching.
This year, with the smaller park, we were able to explore it end-to-end, which was right up Connor’s alley and wore him down a bit for Lacey and Andrew. It helps when they have room to run, so eventually they run themselves out and want to get in on some snuggles. 😉My favorite moment of the session, though, is right here.
