Alexa and Calem snuck their Coxhall Gardens engagement session in just in the nick of time – right before Alexa moved out-of-state to start her residency. She reached out only a few weeks prior to talk through their 2022 wedding plans (at one of my favorite Indy venues!!) and the rest fell very quickly into place. They managed to snag their top-choice wedding date, the last of my May session openings and on a gorgeous spring evening, we brought it all together… complete with the most adorable mini golden doodle there ever was. Seriously. How do all these puppies always look like little dolls!? I just want to sneak them all home! Though I’m sure my own two pups wouldn’t really love me for that.

We started off their session all smiles (and giggles) as Calem had us both cracking up over, well, everything really. Lesley, their pup, kept us all on our toes, running us in circles and snatching up all the leftover snacks in the grass by the willow trees. I never would’ve known there was so much food in there if not for her. If you’re ever feeling hungry, you know where to go.
