Today’s couple portrait session post is a continuation of yesterday’s share. If you’ve missed any of the recent shares about these two you can catch up by checking out their elopement post and their romantic creek portraits from the last few days!
We had planned on splitting their session time between their elopement attire and their additional outfit, but about halfway through their session (after they’d gotten done canoeing up the creek together to the little island… swoon) they shared with me that they were fine with limiting these shots. They were just having too much fun in their fancy duds and wading in the creek. Who can blame them!?
We did manage to finish out the last bit of their session with a bit of time in their more casual clothes and I’m glad we did. I think what couples choose to wear to their session says a lot about who they are as a couple. In this case, Avril and Ben spend most of their time in clothes that look more like this, and much of their time out on the water canoeing and fishing. Of course, their Chacos made an appearance again (did you notice the getting ready shot of Avril on their elopement day with her Chaco tan lines?!). I’m a Chaco-girl myself – what other shoes do you need spring-fall here in Indy!?
To Avril and Ben, it saddens me to be wrapping up all of your galleries and posts. I’m just not ready to be done, yet! Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your amazing adventures this month. Congrats to you both on your marriage, and many wishes of many years of adventuring together to you both.
