Every time I have a session on the calendar for these three we have some kind of weather ‘episode’. Earlier this year, we were rained out halfway through and it’s been a long time coming for these guys to get some actual sunshine for their session. So when we scheduled the second half of our session for September, I wasn’t terribly surprised when rain was in the forecast.
But this time, we lucked out. The temperatures dropped to comfortable, fall temps, the sun came back out, and we had the most beautiful evening together for our County Farm Park family session. Plus, we had wind. I love windy-haired portraits – it just adds to the movement and emotion of the images. And since we got most of our more ‘posed’ shots in earlier this year, this session was all about play and the wind only lent itself to that.
We were able to sneak in some parent shots right at the end of our session, too. These have an extra special sentiment to them this time around, as this was the same park we took Josh and Anna’s engagement photos at years ago. It was nice to revisit the same place and reminisce, but this time with the cutest little third wheel in tow. Oh! And speaking of which, if you didn’t already click on that link above, click it! See for yourself just how much Jackson has grown in just a few months. So much has changed and it’s neat to see these sessions so close together, but with completely different looks! To the McCamans, thank you, as always, for a wonderful evening! See you all soon!
