Just when I thought my 2023 wedding season had come to a close, one last elopement slipped onto my calendar and it was the perfect way to send out the year and wrap up the holiday season. These high school sweethearts planned their Bottleworks Hotel Elopement in a matter of weeks, and it was every bit as stunning as the photos make it look. Lindley and Kush have been engaged for a while and medical school and optometry school and a whole lot of miles in between them put a delay on wedding planning… until recently. In just a few weeks everything came together in this perfectly elegant and intimate elopement at Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

All of the spaces to shoot at Bottleworks are magazine worthy backdrops that will make a photographer gasp around every turn. And that’s without having time to fully explore or set up lighting to shoot some of their moodier interior spaces. Lindley and Kush reserved the Priestly Suite and we could’ve stayed in this room to shoot portraits all day (the windows… enough said) but the lobby was calling my name. I’m a sucker for some bold pops of color. Their ceremony was in The Lab, a very cool piece of history to set foot in, and the whole thing leaves me wanting to go back and just explore the space on my own time. Maybe I need a little staycation…
