My annual fall trip up to Michigan was just recently and was chalk full of family sessions with all of my favorite families. All of these people are near and dear to me – I’ve known them all for more than 10 years now, before any of these little ones joined the crew.

Lindsay and Brad had a double feature for their session – we got about 10 minutes into our first session and had to run for the cars (literally – the kids were yelling and it was raining sideways). We finished up their session a couple of days later at sunrise and had the most beautiful fall color, despite the leaves changing so late this year and fall foliage being hard to find.

We used every inch of my favorite park for their Michigan family session. It’s funny, as the kids get older we’re able to cover so much more ground for sessions… even if we are still hauling wagons. I’ve always loved photographing Lindsay and Brad and their boys and their photos always turn out as some of my favorites. They show up ready to play and move for their photos and I’m here for all of it. My blog posts are always only a tiny little snippet of what the full gallery looks like (a highlight reel, if you will) and these are just some of my personal favorites. Enjoy!
