Indianapolis Couple Photographer | casey and her camera
If you remember a few months ago, I snapped a few photos of these two at the end of their family session near Christmastime. They had gotten engaged shortly before and were just bursting at the seams with excitement, planning, but more importantly… LOVE! And for their real engagement photos, I expected, and received, absolutely nothing less.
Conversations throughout this shoot were, quite possibly, the most amazing to date. We sang songs from Frozen (particularly, Do You Want To Build A Snowman), danced in the rain, discussed the illegalities of shooting on train tracks (don’t worry… these are legal, 🙂 …promise), and my favorite topic… HARRY POTTER. I’ll have you know, these two were disappointed they didn’t bring their Harry Potter wands to the shoot, and when I found this out, I nearly died out of excitement (that they, too, have wands… I have one of my own) and disappointment (that I didn’t know in advance to bring my own!). I have big plans for their 2015 wedding to get a rockin’ shot of them with their wands… and I fully intend to be in the shot! Angelica and Aaron… don’t forget!
I’ve always enjoyed engagement photos because, despite the temporary and initial awkwardness of being in front of a camera, all you are really doing is hanging out with your significant other for a few hours and letting someone document it. It gets EVEN better when two people are absolutely, hands-down, the best of best friends… and are a hoot to be around! These two made it easy for me – cloudy skies and on-and-off rain and all!

Ooooo…. model faces! Eye contact kills me in photos sometimes, and this is one of those times!
We used three locations and the third was most dreamy of all… wish we’d had a little more time here!
