Indianapolis Wedding Photography | Indianapolis Marriott North Wedding

One of the biggest rewards in working in photography is the opportunity to see people year after year, watching their families and lives grow and change with time. When I branched out of working exclusively in family photography into Indianapolis wedding photography, I was curious to see how that aspect of the work would carry over. I was delighted to find out that not much changed – I get to see my couples for engagement sessions before their wedding, and then for lifestyle and family sessions once the wedding is over and things settle down. I see them again at the weddings of friends and family they have referred me to, and in my most favorite case to date, sometimes get to see them walk the aisle again… in a different role.

I met Libby about a year ago and you can read more about that here. When Libby’s son, Justin, married Carrie, Carrie became one of my biggest fans and supporters. She is truly a gem and their little family (Rylan included!) is always a pleasure to be around. So when Libby got engaged, she brought on Carrie as her consultant to help her plan. After all, Carrie and Justin had just recently tied the knot and had plenty of experience in planning! Having met Libby twice already, and then with Carrie singing my praises (thank you!), it was a natural connection. And when Libby booked her wedding officially, I have to admit… I was completely GEEKED. I’m just not sure it gets any better than this.

Libby and Eddie tied the knot at the newly renovated Indianapolis Marriott North, which you can check out more about here and it was just perfect down to every last detail – including the two-hour break in the week-long storm timed perfectly with some outdoor couple and family photos.
